Duran Duran were joined on stage by Mark Ronson at London's The O2 last night (12.12.11).

Frontman Simon Le Bon paid tribute to the producer for his work on their recent album, 'All You Need is Now', before inviting him to the stage, where he played guitar on current single 'Girl Panic!' while the accompanying video - which features some of the world's most recognisable supermodels - played on screens behind them.

Despite the vastness of the venue, the band had no trouble connecting with the audience, inviting one person to lead a chant ahead of their performance on 'The Reflex' and after Simon had introduced his bandmates, he asked a female fan to perform his introduction.

'Ordinary World' was dedicated to "people who have moved on", with Simon paying particular tribute to some of his inspirations, late Beatles star George Harrison and legendary guitarist Bert Jansch.

Later, fans were urged to tweet the group using the hashtag duranlive, with some of the messages displayed on the video screens.

The group closed their hit-spanning set - which included classic tracks such as 'Hungry Like the Wolf', 'A View To A Kill', and 'Notorious' - with an encore of 'Wild Boys', which was mixed with a cover of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's 'Relax', and their 1982 single 'Rio'.
