Former DYNASTY star Joan Collins has landed a role in a German soap opera.
The veteran British actress will play an English aristocrat in longrunning TV show Verbotene Liebe (Forbidden Love), and she's set to start shooting on Monday (22Feb10).
And the 76 year old is relieved she doesn't have to learn a new language to take part - as the producers have allowed her to recite her lines in English.
She says, "I don't have to speak German."
Collins' debut in the soap opera will air in Germany in April (10).
