Eagles co-founder Bernie Leadon is to rejoin the group for an upcoming tour.
The guitarist, who quit the group in 1975, will join his replacement Joe Walsh for dates on the History of the Eagles tour.
Walsh broke the news to Billboard.com this week (beg08Apr13), stating, "Bernie's brilliant. I never really got a chance to play with him, but we've been in contact. We see him from time to time, and I'm really glad he's coming because it's going to take the show up a notch, and I'm really looking forward to playing with him, finally.
"There'll be part of the show that doesn't involve me, but I may come out and play some (previous band) James Gang stuff as part of the show."
Leadon was famously replaced by Walsh after a backstage fight with Glenn Frey, during which he reportedly poured beer over The Heat is On hitmaker.
