Ed Helms - Ed Helms Gets To Keep Mike Tyson Tattoo
Ed Helms' tattoo tribute to Mike Tyson will not be altered for the Dvd release of The Hangover sequel - movie studio bosses have struck a deal with the artist who created the skin art.
S. Victor Whitmill sued producers in April (11) for breach of copyright after learning the tattoo he etched on Tyson's face would feature in The Hangover Part Ii - and not only on the boxer.
The tattoo artist's request to halt the film's May (11) release was denied, but studio bosses at Warner Bros. feared they would have to digitally alter Helms' fake face tattoo if the lawsuit was not resolved by the time the film's Dvd was released.
A private mediation hearing took place last week (16Jun11) and the matter has been resolved, according to Tmz.com.
The terms of the settlement are confidential.
