Ed Sheeran is having nightmares about his duet with Sir Elton John.

The 'Lego House' singer is teaming up with the 'Rocket Man' hitmaker at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (10.02.13) and is terrified something could go wrong.

He told Baltimore radio station Mix 106.5: ''I went to sleep worrying about the Grammys. Like what happens if I win and what happens if I don't? And what happens if my voice cracks when I'm singing? I fell asleep just thinking about it and had this really odd dream.

''I'm doing the duet with Elton at the Grammys and I had this dream where we decided not to play the song we were going to play and we were going to play this other traditional song. I forgot to give him the piano reference and he just didn't play. Everyone was really confused and I got told off. I hope it isn't a pre-warning to what is actually going to happen!''

While Ed - who's track 'The A Team' is nominated for Song of the Year - is thrilled to be playing at the prestigious Los Angeles event, but nervous about the superstars who will be watching him in the audience.

He said: ''I was psyched - and then realised who's going to be in the audience.

''I want Jay-Z to watch my performance first - I wouldn't want to just walk up to him. It could be awkward.''
