Eddie Cibrian's wife has spoken out about his alleged affair with co-star Leann Rimes - accusing the singer/actress of harbouring an obsession with her husband.
Rimes, who is married to dancer Dean Sheremet, sparked rumours of an illicit liaison with her Northern Lights colleague Cibrian in March (09) after leaked security camera footage caught the pair enjoying an intimate dinner together in California.
The singer has refused to comment on the alleged infidelity, while Cibrian labelled the stories "fabricated."
But Cibrian's wife, Brandi Glanville, has now opened up about the rumours - accusing Rimes of "stalking" her husband.
The former model claims Cibrian cut contact with the star in April (09) but alleges Rimes continued to pester him with "constant texting and calling" - even tracking him down at a Los Angeles basketball match two weeks after he changed his phone number, according to Us Weekly.Com.
Glanville tells the publication, "LeAnn is a stalker. She refuses to leave us alone - it is shameful and scary. People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance.
The mother-of-two calls Rimes' alleged behaviour "disgusting" and claims she is using the affair rumours to prop up her career.
She adds, "LeAnn is so desperate for fame she has left her self-respect in the gutter and doesn't care who she hurts to get what she wants. She's hurting my family and messing with the wrong mom. I'm a happy wife fighting for what I have."
A representative for Rimes has hit back at the allegations, adding, "Eddie and Brandi are both on the record on this and LeAnn has kept quiet, so what does that tell you about who is after fame and press?"
