PEARL JAM star Eddie Vedder thrilled fans of The Strokes in New York last night (04MAY06) by taking to the stage with the group. Vedder turned up at The Strokes' Hammerstein Ballroom show, a concert staged to commemorate rock magazine Rolling Stone's 1000th issue, to perform JUICEBOX with the band - after performing a 10-song set for Pearl Jam fans at the nearby Ed Sullivan Theatre. Vedder wasn't the only special guest to join The Strokes onstage - Lou Reed performed his classic WALK ON THE WILD SIDE with the band.
