Elizabeth Hurley's parrot Ping Pong loves swearing but the actress insists her pet didn't learn the naughty words from her.
Elizabeth Hurley's parrot loves to swear.
The actress' bird - a blue fronted Amazonian breed named Ping Pong which can replicate human speech - has recently started to say "f**k off" although Elizabeth is adamant the parrot didn't hear it from her.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She's started to say 'f**k off' which she learnt from her pet shop days.
"They have this weird retentive memory where they hear something and sit on it for months before repeating it. Two days ago she suddenly said: 'Happy Christmas!'"
Despite her love for the parrot, Elizabeth recently admitted she was jealous of her feathered friend after she was featured in Britain's Tatler magazine.
She tweeted: "Ping Pong insufferably smug; she has a whole page dedicated to her in October's Tatler magazine. She does look awfully sweet in the pic (sic)"
Ping Pong even has her own twitter page with over 5,000 followers, and previously 'admitted' to having a "crush" on Elizabeth's boyfriend, former Australian cricketer Shane Warne.
Elizabeth, who is thought to control the parrot's twitter page, wrote: "Yes, my sweet Australian, I still have a crush on u. You're even bossier then Keeper but I can be submissive. And v sweet. (sic)"
