Elizabeth Hurley's pet parrot is a fan of Bruno Mars.

The model-and-actress' feathered friend - a Blue Fronted Amazonian breed named Ping Pong, who can mimic sounds and human speech - is favouring the 'Grenade' singer's tracks, and has been "shouting and squawking" at the sound of them.

The 45-year-old brunette beauty wrote on her twitter page: "V difficult to play music in Ping's vicinity now - the shouting and squawking is astonishing. Her current favourite? Bruno Mars. (sic)"

The 'Bedazzled' actress also revealed the female parrot - who is able to imitate her owner's laugh - was "ecstatic" at receiving strawberries and blueberries for breakfast.

In another tweet posted today, Elizabeth added: "Just made Ping Pong's breakfast: oatmeal made with fruit juice & chopped strawberries & blueberries. She's ecstatic. And quiet. Phew.

"I'm having a poached egg on wholemeal toast. Ping will get the crusts."

The British star had been due to star in a remake of TV series 'Wonder Woman' before NBC rejected the project.
