British model Elizabeth Hurley reportedly begged wealthy entrepreneur Richard Branson to help her build an empire to rival his Virgin assets, after acknowledging her at an Art event.

The 39-year-old was humiliated when her fame failed to help her queue-jump at London's FINE ARTS AND ANTIQUES FAIR, so she asked Branson for advice on how to re-establish her stardom by branching out from her successful movie company SIMIAN FILMS.

A shocked source at the fair tells Britain's DAILY STAR newspaper, "She got her PR people to ask if she could look round before the crowds got there but the staff said she'd have to pay like everyone else."
