Sir Elton John's toddler son appears to have a budding career as a soccer star - sports ace David Beckham is convinced the youngster has a "natural talent" for the game.

The singer and his partner David Furnish became parents to Zachary on Christmas Day (25Dec) 2010, and the two year old is already showing off his sporty side.

Beckham told the couple last year (12) that the youngster was showing promise, much to the delight of Sir Elton, who is a keen supporter of British team Watford Football Club, where he serves as honorary life president.

Furnish tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "As far as Elton is concerned, the best thing that could happen in the world would be for Zachary to have an aptitude for football.

"So when David Beckham saw him playing football last year and advised us that he thought Zachary could have a natural talent for the game, Elton was the happiest man on the planet. I think he hopes he will play for Watford Football Club one day."

The couple is also parents to son Elijah, who was born on 11 January (13).
