Emilia Clarke will star in 'The Garden of Last Days'.

The 'Game of Thrones' beauty will star alongside James Franco in the actor-and-director's next filmmaking effort, based on Andre Dubus III's novel of the same name, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The contemporary thriller follows the interwoven stories of three characters over the course of one night in a Florida-based strip club, and will explore family and sexual values.

Clarke will play a stripper who brings her three-year-old daughter to work, while the other main roles include a lonely, bitter man who is thrown out of the club, and a wealthy foreigner on the verge of committing a frightful act.

The film is being produced by 'Olympus Has Fallen' star Gerard Butler, along with Alan Siegel, Danielle Robinson, Hanna Weg, Vince Jolivette and Miles Levy.

Clarke is currently one of the lead characters in HBO's hit fantasy drama 'Game of Thrones', playing Daenerys Targaryen, a princess looking to reclaim her family's throne.

The actress recently finished shooting British crime drama 'Don Hemingway', which stars Jude Law in the lead role.

'The Garden of Last Days' is being financed by Millennium Films and is scheduled to begin production in July.
