Emma Bunton's missing dog has been found dead.

The Spice Girls singer is distraught after her beloved chocolate Labrador Phoebe - which went missing during a walk in north London on Monday (04.02.13) - was discovered deceased and her long-term partner Jade Jones is equally devastated.

She wrote on Twitter: ''To all the amazing people who supported us at this horrible time our precious phoebe has been found and its terrible news, we are devastated (sic)''

Emma - who has sons Beau, five, and 19-month-old Tate with Jade - pleaded with fans on the social networking site to help her find the missing mutt earlier this week and garnered support from celebrities including bandmate Geri Halliwell, Perez Hilton and Myleene Klass.

Emma previously tweeted: ''My gorgeous brown Labrador went missing on daily walk, she will be so scared please look out around east barnet, Hadley wood, Trent park

''Her name is phoebe!! She is so gentle, please look out for her.

''I'm in bits, thank you for all your reassuring messages! Please keep looking (sic)''

The 37-year-old star was still on the lookout for the pooch earlier today (06.02.13) and even offered a reward for her return before learning of Phoebe's tragic fate.

She wrote: ''Please help #findphoebe still looking!!! My beautiful chocolate Labrador. REWARD. (sic)''
