Emma Thompson, Florence Welch and Sam Taylor-Wood have been named the Women Of The Year by Britain's Harper's Bazaar magazine.
The Nanny MCPhee star picked up the Role Model prize at the Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards in London on Monday night (01Nov10). Thompson was honoured for her work as an actress, producer and writer, as well as her human rights campaigning.
Florence And The MAChine star Welch took the Breakthrough of the Year trophy, while artist-turned-director Taylor-Wood was named Renaissance Woman of the Year.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was handed to Scottish singer Annie Lennox, while supermodel Christy Turlington was named among the magazine's International Women of Influence, along with designer Donna Karan and Queen Rania of Jordan.
