Emma Watson, who's played the part of Hermione Granger in the hugely successful Harry Potter franchise for the past 10 years, has arrived in New York after an 8-hour flight from Heathrow. Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are promoting the Harry Potter finale in America.
Looking fresh-faced despite the journey and the after-party of the night before, Watson arrived in New York to flocks of adoring fans. The 21-year old star looked relaxed and was smiling. She has a busy few days ahead of her as she is due to appear on US TV screens in a one hour Harry Potter special programme hosted by Larry King which will be aired in America on CNN at 8pm on Sunday. After that, she is planning to meet up with fellow co-star Rupert Grint, and watch Daniel Radcliffe'S performance as the ambitious J. Pierrepont Finch in his Broadway musical debut.
Watson, who has reportedly earned over £24 million from the Harry Potter phenomenon, speaking on her future she said, "I've got the blockbuster box well and truly ticked. I want to make smaller films that are really high quality and mean something to me personally."
