Paul Rudd is in negotiations to star in comedy movie 'Admission'.

The 'Wanderlust' actress will appear opposite Tina Fey in romantic comedy about an unmarried Ivy League college admissions woman who strikes up a romance with a man (played by Paul) who she knows from when she was at school.

'About A Boy' directing Paul Weitz is helming the project, which has been written by Karen Croner.

It will be the first movie for Tina Fey - who is best known for her turn in TV show '30 Rock', from which she is currently on a hiatus, and a damning parody of former US Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin - since 2010's 'Date Night'.

Paul most recently starred in 'Wanderlust' alongside Jennifer Aniston, and has a number of movies lined up including 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' alongside Emma Watson and Judd Apatow's 'This Is Forty'.

An exact start date or release plan is not yet known.
