Film composer Ennio Morricone's upcoming concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles has been cancelled. The 80-year-old composer and conductor was due to take the stage at the Bowl on Sunday (25Oct09). Details about the cancellation have not been released. Morricone was scheduled to conduct the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the Angeles Chorale in works from his four-decade career in the movie business, including excerpts the scores to The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Cinema Paradiso, Once Upon a Time in America and The Mission.
