The Springsteen hitmaker filed suit in federal court on Tuesday (10Mar15), seeking an injunction against the Jane and John Does, who have been spotted selling items such as T-shirts outside his concert venues.

In the legal documents, obtained by Nashville newspaper The Tennessean, Church states that members of his team have witnessed a number of poor-quality, unlicensed garments at his gigs, which are similar in design to those they sell inside the venue.

Church is seeking to stop the vendors from making any further unlawful sales, as well as unspecified monetary damages from the profits the vendors have made.

This isn't the first time Church has hit unauthorised merchandise sellers with legal action - in 2012, he filed a complaint in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, seeking a federal court order to "authorise the seizure of infringing goods" near all the venues on his American tour.
