Goth rockers Evanescence are planning to plough on with new tour dates in 2004 after guitarist Ben Moody's departure prompted them to scrap a host of Christmas dates.

Moody quit the BRING ME TO LIFE group last year (03), prompting speculation a love split with singer Amy Lee was responsible, with the group then cancelling American dates on their 2003 tour.

But, proving that Moody's departure won't affect the group, they're planning a massive three-continent trek in 2004, which will begin on 8 January (04) in Auckland, New Zealand.

The group will also tour Australia and Japan before heading back to America in February (04).

Singer Lee is currently on tour with her boyfriend SHAUN MORGAN's band Seether in South Africa. Cold's TERRY BALSAMO will replace Moody on the tour.
