Country couple Faith Hill and Tim Mcgraw thrilled fans in Nashville, Tennessee, last week (11MAR03) when they teamed up to perform for charity.

The singers gave fans just three hours notice before stepping out on stage with pal Kenny Chesney at Nashville's BROKEN SPOKE club - but they still managed to fill the place.

Hill and MCGraw took to the stage just after midnight and played two hours of mostly covers including Proud Mary, Sweet Home Alabama. They took requests for MCGraw songs for $100 (GBP66.70) each and handed over the cash to the local Red Cross.

The couple managed to raise $8,000 (GBP5,300) for the charity.
