American rockers Fall Out Boy have been hit with a $15,000 (GBP8,300) fine after ignoring a curfew at a gig in Texas last month (MAR05). The band were even threatened with arrest after performing for too long - but they insist it was worth the money. Singer Pete Wentz writes in his online journal: "Texas is always amazing. All the rumours about it are true and the shows are insane. "Austin police threatened to arrest us, and we were fined $15,000 dollars for playing Saturday past curfew. Definitely worth it."
