When Sofia and Simon, End Of The Road organisers, visited Green Man Festival in Wales in 2005, they decided that they could also put on their own 'perfect' festival. Their favourite bands playing in a welcoming uncommercial surrounding.
End Of The Road is truly independent and takes place in the Larmer Tree Gardens (North Dorset/Wiltshire borders, UK) which is the perfect venue to create this kind of atmosphere.
End of the Road festival takes a lot of pride in all the 'little things' that make a great festival, such as good food (organic and local where possible), good beer, caring and well-mannered staff, good site decorations, hygiene etc.
As well as four music stages, End Of The Road also has a comedy stage, cinema tent, children's activities area, many 'surprises' to be found in the Gardens, and Healing Fields.
