Foo Fighters will headline Reading and Leeds Festivals this year.

The 'Best of You' hitmakers will appear at Reading on Sunday August 26 and Leeds on Friday August 24, making it the third time the group - made up of Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Taylor Hawkins and Chris Shiflett - have headlined the event.

The Cure will also play on Friday August 24 at Reading and Saturday August 25 at Leeds, in what will be their only UK appearance of 2012.

Rockers Kasabian will headline at Reading on Saturday August 25 and Sunday August 26 at Leeds.

Other acts to play the eagerly-anticipated event - which draws 160,000 music fans - includes Paramore, in what will be their only festival appearance in the UK, Florence and the Machine and The Black Keys.

The Vaccines, Enter Shikari, The Shins, Mystery Jets, Katy B Kaiser Chiefs and Bullet For My Valentine will also play.

Weekend tickets are prices at £197.50, with day tickets at £85.
