Mary J. Blige was forced to pull out of a performance at a charity dinner hosted by Forest Whitaker in London on Saturday (10Nov12) after the bad weather on America's East Coast grounded her plane.
The No More Drama superstar agreed to provide the entertainment at the Peace-Earth Foundation fundraiser at the Banqueting House in Whitehall in the U.K. capital.
The event was hosted by Whitaker and cost guests including James MCAvoy, Gemma Arterton and Trudie Styler $1,600 (£1,000) a head.
However, following the snow storms which hit New York in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Blige was unable to catch her private jet.
A spokesperson for the star tells Britain's Daily Mail, "Mary had planned to sing, but after a snow storm hit New York the private jet which was to take her to the event was unable to fly. She was disappointed not to be there."
