Barry Manilow has put his Malibu house up for sale - again.

The 'Mandy' hitmaker has listed the property several times over the last three years and is this time requesting $6.9 million - just over half the original $12.6 million asking price.

The beachfront 3,546 square-foot property boasts five bedrooms, four bathrooms, panoramic Ocean views and a separate guest house.

The spacious kitchen has limestone floors, while the master bedroom has a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows lead out to a wrap-around patio.

Barry, 68, bought the house - which then had four bedrooms and three bathrooms - for $3.85 million in 2002.

After renovations, he listed the property in early 2009 for $12.6 million but soon dropped the asking price to $10.9 million before removing the listing.

He put it back up for sale in March 2010 for $9.15 million but failed to find a buyer. It was then reduced to $7.99million in January 2011 but was still unsuccessful.

Earlier this year, Barry admitted he ''paid no attention'' to his finances until he was declared bankrupt.

The 'Copacabana' hitmaker discovered in 1980 that mismanagement of his Fortune had resulted in his millions being squandered away to the point where he had ''absolutely no money'', and while he was forced to start all over again, the legendary singer can now ''smile'' about the experience.

He said: ''There was a point in my career where I had absolutely no money. I was not prepared for all that cash that came at me, I paid no attention to it.

''I hired somebody and I trusted people, but I looked up one day after all those hits, after I wrote all those songs and I had just $11,000 in the bank. After all over those hits, I had to start all over again.

''I can smile about it now.''
