Francis Ford Coppola has travelled to Brazil to find a location for a planned tourist resort, according to reports. The Godfather director arrived in the South American country earlier this week (begs27Aug07) to scout land in the Florianopolis area, where he hopes to construct a holiday village, according to Brazilian news website G1.Globo.com. It's not the filmmaker's first foray into Brazilian real estate - Coppolla bought a boutique hotel in capital Buenos Aires in June (07), and is reported to have plans to establish a film production facility for use in 2008.
