British rockers Franz Ferdinand deny they had to work hard for their phenomenal success, because they don't associate playing and recording music with 'work'. Frontman Alex Kapranos insists the band couldn't possibly be enjoying themselves more than they are. He says, "You know (THE White Stripes') Jack White is spending every available moment thinking about and doing his music. "If you really love something, you immerse yourself in it. It's not a chore. It's the thing that is your life. "I've tried to get that across to people before, and they go, 'Oh Franz Ferdinand, they're the hardest working band in rock'n'roll!' "It's not hard work! I just really, really like it."
