Gary Barlow has had his Twitter account inundated with positive messages wishing the best for the Take That singer, who lost his daughter following her stillborn birth, however one person has gone so far against the grain he is experiencing a massive backlash from users of the social media site,
Kenneth Tong, who appeared on the 2009 series of the long-running reality series Big Brother, sent six Tweets in under an hour to the bereaved X Factor judge, each one joking about Gary Barlow's baby. Rather than retract his statements, the Internet troll callously stood by what he said, admitting to The Sun newspaper that he only put did what he did to get noticed. Tong then went on to say that the Tweets were written solely for his benefit, saying they were for "what I get out of it", adding; "people will know my name and that's all that matters".
This is not the first time Tong has stirred up a storm for his off-hand comments on the micro-blogging site, as he has previously launched a 'pro-anorexia' campaign on the site, which he later claimed was a hoax. Ignoring the one exception, Gary has since thanked fans for their "overwhelming" support on Twitter and has also set up a memorial fund in his newly deceased baby's name.
