Gaz Coombes' Intimate Church Tour To Commence November 2013

Gaz Coombes will embark upon a short tour next month in four of the country's most atmospheric church venues. In preparation for these dates, Coombes has been back in the studio working on his upcoming second solo album. With the new material quickly emerging, the first track to be taken from the sessions will be 'BUFFALO' which will be for sale on digital and limited edition 7" vinyl formats on the 28th October (impacts on December 2nd).

"I've been tucked away in the studio these last few months recording my follow up to Here Come The Bombs," says Gaz. "The whole process is coming together really well so I was keen to get a track out there to give people a flavour of what I'm up to."

November's intimate tour will see Gaz Coombes fronting a band completed by his brother Charly (keys / loops) and former Ride / JAMC drummer Loz Colbert. The dates follow his much-lauded summer single 'One of These Days' which was championed by BBC 6 Music, as well as performances at boutique festivals which included Latitude, Truck, and Deer Shed.

"We've been busy creating new arrangements for the tracks from Here Come The Bombs specifically to work with the acoustics of the churches we're playing in next month," he continues. "It's sounding great, really exciting! So I'm sure they're going to be very unique and intimate shows, and unlike anything I've done before."

Remaining tickets are available at £16 for London and £15 for all regional shows.

It has been eighteen years since Gaz Coombes first ambushed the UK music scene with Supergrass. After the success of last year's critically acclaimed debut solo album 'Here Come The Bombs' which included the singles 'Simulator', 'White Noise' and 'Hot Fruit', Gaz sold-out numerous shows across the country with his band The Bombs. 'Here Come The Bombs' was co-produced by Sam Williams, who also produced Supergrass' debut album.

The dates are:

November
18th - Manchester, Salford St. Philip's
19th - Glasgow, Oran Mor
20th - Leeds, Holy Trinity
21st - London, Union Chapel
