Gene Simmons, the American rocker and lead-singer of Kiss, is reportedly in trouble with long-term girlfriend Shannon Tweed over a photograph he had taken with fans. The new series of Simmons' reality show 'Family Jewels' features Tweed confronting the singer about a photo of him posing with two young women, reports the Toronto Sun.
During tonight's sixth season premiere (14th June 2011), Tweed and Simmons argue over a photograph of the rocker outside a Hollywood restaurant with the two blonde girls on his arm. In a preview clip, Gene is seen trying to explain he had no idea who the women were, prompting Shannon to scream, "I'm sick of hearing it, I'm sick of seeing it, and I'm sick of looking at it... Gene, please don't play me for a fool". The scenes were broadcast on Monday's 'Today Show', where the couple were in the studio to promote the new series. However, when the Kiss rocker denied knowing the women featured in the photograph, Tweed interrupted, "What he means is he didn't know their names..." The presenter then asked about the current status of their relationship, to which Tweed replied, "It's pretty much unravelled... He's had a fling with many girls".
Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed's children, Nicholas and Sophie both feature in the reality show 'Family Jewels'. The couple have lived together since 1985.
