The Sun really went to town with their Clooney and Keibler split story yesterday, enlisting the opinion of Ulrika Jonsson as to why Hollywood actor George Clooney would always remain single, in addition to apparently breaking the story that he'd split with former professional wrestler Stacy Keibler. The Sun endured a tough day yesterday (September 12th) after documents compiled about the British football stadium disaster at Hillsborough, Sheffield in 1989 were made public and pointed out that police were at fault for the deaths of 96 people, and not the fans themselves, something insinuated by the paper 23 years previously. The trouble with the Clooney / Keibler story - was that no such thing has happened, it seems.

According to a rep of Clooney's, who spoke to the Daily Mail "A story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true. Total fabrication designed to sell newspapers." Clooney has an infamous past when it comes to his love life, working his way through some of the most beautiful and famous women in the world. However, with Keibler it seemed like he'd found one to stop at, the pair seemingly hugely into each other when they first stepped out last year as a couple.

A source for The Sun had said "She said George wants to be on his own again and has no intention of getting married. Stacy hoped they would be together long-term. It was a big breakthrough to spend time with his parents. But over the last few weeks George has pulled away from her." However, it appears that the truth is rather different.
