Singer George Michael will not face any charges after falling out of a speeding car last month (May13).

The Careless Whisper hitmaker gave traffic officials a statement last week (29May13) when he was discharged from hospital, where he received treatment for head injuries following his tumble out of a Range Rover on the M1 highway north of London.

It is an offence for drivers and passengers not to wear their seat belts, but Michael will not be fined for failing to strap himself in.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire police says, "All witnesses have been spoken to and no further action will be taken."

Cops also took statements from the former Wham! star's driver and another passenger, but closed the case.
