A documentary charting George Michael's life story has been added to the line-up at this year's (05) BERLIN FILM FESTIVAL.

A DIFFERENT STORY - which will be screened on 16 February at the high-profile movie gala - focuses on Michael's pop career and personal life, from his rise to glory in Wham! to his fall from grace following his 1998 arrest in a Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, park toilet for "lewd behaviour".

The revealing film also covers his legal battles with record label Sony, the death of his boyfriend ANSELMO FELEPPA from AIDS, and his stance against the Iraq war and American politics.

Michael will attend the event to introduce the 93-minute documentary and will be joined the film's director SOUTHAN MORRIS and executive producer ANDY STEPHENS.
