LATEST: Troubled pop star George Michael has vowed to take legal action against a man claiming to have had a sordid homosexual encounter with the singer. The allegations, printed in a British newspaper last weekend (23JUL06), have infuriated the former Wham! heart-throb who denies any involvement with the man. He says, "I'm suing the individual involved who I have never, ever seen, let alone wanted to have any kind of sexual encounter with." Michael has also threatened legal action against the photographers who caught him allegedly 'cruising' London's Hampstead Heath for sex. Citing harassment, he argues: "I should not have to worry about who's watching me at 2.30 in the morning. "I have done nothing this year against the law, I've done nothing to encourage talk about my sex life." "The question is not whether I bring it to the public, but it is why do I have to defend it in public because I don't want to talk about it at all." The OUTSIDE singer reveals he will not be seeking compensation from The Sun newspaper, who originally printed the story, because, "I'm not talking about money, I'm talking about (whether) you want to be destroyed."
