Singer George Michael has been forced to cancel more dates on his Symphonica tour as he battles pneumonia.
The Careless Whisper hitmaker kicked off his trek in August (11), before playing a homecoming gig in London, England last month (Oct11) at the Royal Albert Hall.
But he axed a second show at the venue on 26 October (11) as he fell sick with a viral infection, and also cancelled his scheduled date in Vienna, Austria on Monday (21Nov11).
The singer has now been forced to pull more shows in Strasbourg, France on Wednesday night (23Nov11), as well as his weekend (26-27Nov11) dates in Cardiff, Wales, and revealed he has pneumonia.
A statement from Michael's representatives reads, "Singer George Michael has been forced to postpone the Cardiff dates (26th and Sunday 27th of November) of his Symphonica tour due to illness. The singer recently postponed tour dates in Vienna and Strasbourg under doctor's orders after being diagnosed with pneumonia and he is currently receiving treatment."
Michael has since apologised for axing his London show and has rescheduled the gig for May next year (12). New dates for the other cancelled shows are to be confirmed at a later date.
