American President George W Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair's handling of the war in Iraq has inspired a new London musical.

ALISTAIR BEATON's FOLLOW MY LEADER at HAMPSTEAD THEATRE depicts Blair as a God-fearing, image conscious puppet of the Americans, while Bush appears as a religious zealot whose only aim is to increase his native country's influence on the world.

The war also inspired last year's (03) runaway West End hit THE MADNESS OF GEORGE DUBYA, by JUSTIN BUTCHER.
