300 star Gerard Butler has been hit with a trademark infringement lawsuit over the name of his production company.
The owners of Hollywood firm Evil Twin Prods are taking legal action against the Scottish actor and his business partner Alan Siegel, who named their company Evil Twins Entertainment.
Kristen Armfield and Harri Mark have a registered trademark on Evil Twin and have used the banner since their launch in 1996, according to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday (09Nov10).
The plaintiffs maintain they have received calls intended for Butler's Evil Twins since its creation in 2008.
They are demanding an injunction as well as $2 million (£1.3 million) in statutory damages for alleged unfair competition, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
