British pop personalities Geri Halliwell and Duncan James are teaming up to co-present this summer's (04) PARTY IN THE PARK concert in London.

Former SPICE GIRL GERI and Blue hunk Duncan will entertain 100,000 fans and British heir Prince Charles at the July event in HYDE PARK - after organisers decided they were the perfect pair to pull in crowds.

A source says, "This is a massive deal to land and could be the start of big things for them as a team.

"Duncan and Geri get on brilliantly, there's a real spark between them. As a double act they have something different to offer."

Duncan and Geri, who is relaunching her solo career later this year (04), were rumoured to be dating after they were spotted out together in London last month (MAR04) - but they were just discussing plans for Party In The Park, and a possible pop collaboration.

James said after snaps of the pair appeared in British newspapers, "I was introduced to Geri by INNOCENT RECORDS as we're both signed to the same label now.

"It was suggested that we should write together. Geri loved Blue's single GUILTY, which I co-wrote, so we met up for dinner to discuss it.

"We got on really well and we'll be working together in the future."
