Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding is working on her first solo project.
The British girl band, which formed on 2002 U.K. reality show Popstars: The Rivals, took a break in 2009 to allow the five singers to concentrate on individual projects.
Harding, who checked into rehab last year (11) to address a sleeping pill addiction, has been pursuing a career in film, but she is preparing to return to her music roots in 2013.
In a video for website Broadcast Exchange, she says, "There's quite a lot going on this year, but it's in the pipeline right now, so I can't really say much about that!
"Next year I am preparing for solo material, so watch this space."
