Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding sprinkles charcoal on her food in an effort to stay slim.
The sexy British star discovered the strange diet aid online, and now adds a small amount of the unappetising substance to every meal.
And Harding insists the strange dinnertime habit is worth it - because it helps her stay slim and healthy.
She says, "I found out about it on a fashion website. It has a strange texture, but it doesn't taste of anything and apparently absorbs all the bad, damaging stuff in the body. It's not the regular charcoal you put in fires, though - I'm not that mad.
"I get it from a health food shop and I think it's good for hangovers, too."
