Gisele Bündchen made her final runway appearance at Sao Paulo Fashion Week.

The 34-year-old supermodel - who confirmed she was to retire from the catwalk last week - sashayed down the runway for Colcci, a brand she has been collaborating with since she started out in the industry, yesterday (15.04.15).

The blonde beauty was supported by her husband Tom Brady - with whom she has Benjamin, five, and Vivian, two - and looked stunning as she strutted her stuff in a pretty white dress by the brand and knee-high gladiator sandals.

The label paid tribute to Gisele at the end of the show when they sent models out on to the catwalk sporting t-shirts adorned with her face.

The model - who took to her Instagram account to share behind the scenes photos from the show - said she was ''grateful'' for her 20 year career and described working in the industry a ''privilege'' alongside a throwback photo of her 14-year-old self that she uploaded to the picture sharing site.

She wrote: ''I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey. Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business. #firstrunway #14yearsold (sic)''

Although it was first rumoured Gisele was to quit the runway last month, she only confirmed the news last week and admitted she made the decision out of ''respect'' for her body.

She told the Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper: ''Automatically my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop.

''I respect my body, it's a privilege to be able to stop.''
