Kristen Bell and Glee actor Chris Colfer were among the stars who stayed up late on Thursday (22Mar12) to attend special midnight screenings of hotly-anticipated movie The Hunger Games.
The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star recently admitted she's such a big fan of the action trilogy by Suzanne Collins she read the books aloud to her fiance Dax Shepard - and she was among the first in line for early showings of the film in Hollywood.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she wrote, "Standing w/ (with) gary ross (director) at the midnight screening of hungergames!!!!! So excited!"
Colfer came out of a cinema gushing about the movie, telling his fans, "Midnight showing of the Hunger Games! Hot damn. I'm not a promoter of violence, but I'm so glad I started sai-swords at a young age."
And his Glee co-star Kevin MCHale also attended a late screening event, marking the second time he's seen the film: "Hope everyone had a happy hunger games! Just got back from seeing it... again! Even better this time!"
Pop star Justin Bieber marked the special event by writing on his page, "what other movies do u and your friends wait for in the middle of the night. HungerGames."
