Gwen Stefani once pondered a career as a drag queen who would mix up reggae, show tunes and 1980s pop hits at gay clubs and festivals. The colourful No Doubt star admits she has always been a big fan of the gay music scene and considered becoming a cabaret star. She tells gay magazine Instinct, "My act would cover a wide range of styles, from early ska/reggae classics to Broadway classics and a couple 80s dance tunes. "(I'd have) the red lipstick and the platinum blonde hair! Oh, and great backlighting, always great backlighting."
