Gwyneth Paltrow has brushed off reports she was left fuming after movie bosses replaced her with Scarlett Johansson on posters for their upcoming movie IRON MAN 2.
The actress, who plays Iron Man's assistant Pepper Potts in the film, was said to be furious after learning promotional posters feature images of Johansson, who is set to star as the Black Widow in the sequel.
Mickey Rourke and Johansson, both newcomers to the Iron Man franchise, are featured standing next to Robert Downey Jr. in the publicity shots - but Paltrow has been left out altogether.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Gwyneth was afraid she'd be upstaged by Scarlett and not being in the campaign was the final straw. She is furious she's been left out."
But a spokesperson for Paltrow has dismissed the reports, insisting the Oscar winner doesn't mind being left out of the posters: "She was not at all upset."
