SIR Elton John is set to follow in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow and Britney Spears with a role in Glee - he's in talks with the show's creator for a cameo.
The Rocket Man pleaded with Ryan Murphy for a role in the hit U.S. programme earlier this year (11), saying, "I love Glee! I would love to be on Glee, but you have to be asked to be on Glee."
And his public appeal has seemingly worked - he and Murphy have discussed the possibility of the singer appearing in an upcoming episode, according to Matthew Morrison, who recently recorded a track with Sir Elton.
He tells Access Hollywood, "He and Ryan Murphy just sat down and had a conversation about it. I hope that (happens). (It) would be awesome!"
His co-star Jane Lynch adds, "He said he and Ryan just had coffee or something and they talked about that, so that would be really fun."
