Hailee Steinfeld has been cast in McG's new movie.

The 15-year-old 'True Grit' actress will star as Kevin Costner's daughter in the hotly-anticipated untitled action film.

Kevin, 57, plays terminally ill Secret Service agent Ethan Runner who agrees to embark on one last mission before he dies. His mission is compromised, however, when he starts taking an experimental drug that leads to wild hallucinations.

Oscar nominee Hailee - who recently filmed a titular role in 'Downton Abbey' creator Julian Fellowes' adaptation of the Shakespeare classic 'Romeo and Juliet' - will fill the role of Costner's estranged daughter with whom he wants to reconnect before dying.

Hailee shot to fame in 2010's 'True Grit' as Mattie Ross, a young girl who hires bounty hunter Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges) to hunt down her father's killer. The role earned the young actress Oscar and BAFTA nominations.

The untitled action film will be helmed by 'Charlie's Angels' director McG and was written by 'From Paris with Love' co-writers Luc Besson and Adi Hasak.
