Haley Joel Osment has signed on to star in 'Sex Ed'.

The 22-year-old actor - best known for his role in horror drama movie 'The Sixth Sense' alongside Toni Collette - will play a virgin college graduate who wants to be a maths teacher, but ends up teaching sexual education.

Isaac Feder will direct the project, which has been written by Billy Kennedy.

Brad Jenkel and Brad Krevoy from MPCA, Seth Grossman and Aperture Entertainment's Adam Goldworm will produce the movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Since starring as Cole Sear - a child who can see dead people in 1999's 'The Sixth Sense' - Haley has starred in a number of films including 'Artificial Intelligence: AI' in 2001 and 'Edges of the Lord'.

He has also carved out a niche in voiceovers, working on projects including 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame II', 'The Jungle Book 2' - where he voiced lead character Mowgli - and 'Family Guy'.

His last film, 'Home of the Giants', failed to set the box office alight upon its release in 2009.
