Harrison Ford owes his movie career to a fortuitous restroom break at Columbia Pictures.

The Indiana Jones star was leaving the building after a less-than stellar audition with a top casting director when he stopped to relieve himself, and he still believes what happened next was a stroke of luck that propelled his film fortunes.

As he left the restroom, he bumped into the director's assistant.

He recalls, "I don't think that assistant would have run that much farther to get me. But he found me, and I left Columbia that day with a seven-year contract... I've been lucky."
