Just Two Weeks After Crash Landing A Vintage Plane On A Golf Course In Los Angeles Harrison Ford Has Been Tapped To Narrate A Documentary About Aviation.
The Star Wars icon is still in hospital recovering from serious injuries he sustained on 5 March (15), when his World War Two fighter plane clipped a tree and crashed as he attempted to make an emergency landing at Santa Monica Municipal Airport.
And two weeks to the day of the longtime pilot's scary crash, bosses at National Geographic Studios announced on Thursday (19Mar15) that he will narrate a film, titled Living in the Age of Airplanes.
The film will detail the history of flight, and how it has changed the world over the last century. Filmmakers utilised aerial photography taken on all seven continents in 18 countries.
Living in the Age of Airplanes will debut on 8 April (15) at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., and will screen at various locations in the U.S. starting on 10 April (15).
