Olivia Wilde, the American actress and star of 'Tron: Legacy', has split from her husband of eight years, Tao Ruspoli.
OLIVIA WILDE recently split from her Italian Prince husband TAO RUSPOLI, and a source close to the couple has revealed the reasons behind the separation, reports US Magazine. An insider claims that the couple have been separated "for a while", and Ruspoli wasn't by Wilde's side at the Golden Globe Awards last month, nor at the premiere of 'Tron: Legacy' back in December. A source close to the pair has explained the split, saying, "It was Olivia's decision...for the typical Hollywood reasons. Her career has exploded and she saw being married is not as much fun". The pair eloped within six months of meeting each other, and they married on a school bus in rural Virginia when Wilde was just 18-years-old. The actress is set to star alongside the likes of Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Sam Rockwell this year, and the source added, "She is a hot property now ... it was weighing her down being married". Meanwhile, her estranged husband is reportedly, "heartbroken" and "really wanted to stay together".
Wilde's next movie will be the highly-anticipated Jon Favreau directed flick 'Cowboys and Aliens'. The film follows the story of a spaceship that arrives in Arizona in 1873 and a posse of local cowboys who do battle with the extra-terrestrials.
